Subject: LWV-Wake Social Meetup April 26th 5pm-7pm
From: League of Women Voters of Wake County

Dear ~~first_name~~,

There was event omitted from yesterday's League Update. Please see details below for our last informal meetup for the League year ending June 30th.

In addition, LWVUS emailed a Member Experience Survey to all members yesterday. This is part of the Framing the Future (Transformation) work and is a way for all members to provide input. The survey closes on April 22nd. If you don't see it in your Inbox, please check your spam or other email folders.

Join Us at The Prohibitive
April 26th 5pm-7pm

Please join LWV-Wake members at an informal gathering on the evening of Wednesday, April 26, 2023. Renew connections and make new ones in the charming Prohibitive, in Cary. Prohibitive is located inside The Mathews House at 317 West Chatham St. Parking is plentiful and adjacent to the house.

Walk in the front door—if you’d like, order a cocktail, a glass of wine, or a beer—and then walk through the Piano Room, the Parlor, the Library and out to the patio or garden. If the weather’s good, we’ll likely be on the patio. But The Mathews House welcomes you to explore the main floor and grounds of the Greek Revival mansion.

Prohibitive sells charcuterie platters (meats/cheese; vegetarian; desserts; you’ll see an example of each as you enter the house) and we recommend sharing a board while we share our experiences in the League.

Members of the Membership Committee will be present from 5:00 until 7:00 pm. If you’d like, invite a friend. Questions? email Dale Cousins at dalenbill@gmail.com.

Registration is not required for this event. However, you will receive email reminders if you complete your registration. To register, click on the link below.

Thank you for continuing to support the League of Women Voters of Wake County.
Sincerely,
