The Women's Rights Committee invites you to join the March Timely Topics at the Highland Methodist Church (1901 Ridge Road Raleigh) Conference Room.  On hand to discuss a little history as well as the current status of the  Equal Rights Amendment will be Dianna Wynn, President of the LWV-US, as well as Audrey Muck and Sherry MacQueen from the ERA-NC Alliance. 

 

ERA remains important and the effort to have this amendment added to the North Carolina constitution and the US constitution continues to be an issue worth your advocacy work.

 

Full biographies of the speakers are on the website. The conference room is on the street level (MAIN) entrance of the church, down the hallway from the front lobby. Bring a brown bag lunch but League volunteers will also be bringing light snacks and beverages. You may want to bring your own reusable beverage container.
