We will be offering VOTE411.org info as well as voter registration. Public is invited. $1 of every special brew purchased will be donated to LWV-Wake.

LWV-Wake is joining with WakeUP Wake County, AARP North Carolina, Blue Ridge Corridor Alliance, El Pueblo, Habitat for Humanity of Wake County, Hillsborough Street Community Service Corporation, Raleigh/Apex NAACP, NC Asian Americans Together, LGBT Center of Raleigh, Muslim American Public Affairs Council, and Oaks & Spokes, to host the 2022 Raleigh City Council Candidate Forum Series.

During our October Timely Topic, LWV-Wake will welcome Dr. Scott Ralls, President of Wake Technical Community College. Dr. Ralls will introduce us to Wake County‘s hidden gem and North Carolina‘s largest community college. Learn about how Wake Tech is contributing to economic development in Wake County and supporting underserved students, as well as the important role Wake Tech and other community colleges have in our education system.
