Timely Topics: Improving Resident Quality of Life in Cities and Towns

Join us virtually as we welcome Jennifer Cohen, Director of Business Development, NC League of Municipalities.

For over 100 years, the North Carolina League of Municipalities has supported cities and towns in a variety of ways. Promoting the values of Service, Self-Determination, Inclusiveness, Collaboration, and Responsiveness, the League strives to bolster every municipality. Jennifer Cohen will discuss the role of the League in helping North Carolina cities and towns be the best hometown each can be for their residents.

As the Director of Business Development with the NC League of Municipalities, Ms. Cohen is responsible for leading all strategic development and member service functions and initiatives.  Prior to joining the League, she taught high school Economics and Government, served as the CEO and Chief Lobbyist for the Insurance Federation, and was Chief of Staff to the NC State Treasurer.  Before moving to North Carolina in 2005, Jennifer practiced law in New York and California.  She lives in Raleigh and has two grown children who reside in Dallas and San Francisco.
