Candidate Forum for Fuquay-Varina
Sponsored by The FV Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Fuquay-Varina, and the League of Women Voters of Wake County
This forum will be conducted on
Oct. 21 from 6 to 7:30.
Questions will be submitted by members of the Chamber of Commerce and alumni of Leadership Fuquay-Varina.
Questions will be reviewed and consolidated by a diverse committee representing both the Chamber and Leadership.
Once consolidated, the questions will then be reviewed by the League of Women Voters.
During the forum:
• Candidates will be grouped by the office for which they are running; commissioner (6-6:30), then mayor (6:45-7:15).
• Each candidate will be allowed a two-minute introduction.
• Each candidate will be given one minute for answers to questions.
• A timekeeper will warn and then stop candidates after the time limit.
• Each candidate will be given one minute for a closing statement.

The League of Women Voters of Wake County
focuses on non-partisan voter education and engagement. It was founded in 1920.
