Healthcare Legislative Update with Senator Gale Adcock

Senator Gale Adcock, member of the Senate Healthcare Committee, will summarize critical healthcare legislation in the General Assembly, including measures to limit reproductive rights and Medicaid Expansion. Sen. Adcock will take questions at the end.

About Senator Adcock:
Senator Adcock is now in her first term in the Senate representing District 16 (Cary, Apex, and Morrisville). Before joining the Senate in 2023, Sen. Adcock served on the Cary Town Council (2007-2014, 3 years as mayor pro-tem) and in the NC House (2015-2022, serving as deputy leader of the Democratic caucus 2021-2022.) Sen. Adcock is a family nurse practitioner and former chief health officer at SAS where she operated the onsite primary care practice for 26 of her 29 years there.
