Candidate Forum for Wake Forest Mayor and Town Commissioner Sponsored by League of Women Voters

RALEIGH, NC, September 20, 2021 – The nonpartisan League of Women Voters of Wake County is pleased to sponsor an important forum for candidates running for Wake Forest mayor and town commissioner. Details for the forum are as follows:

  • What: Candidate Forum for Wake Forest Mayor & Town Commissioner Candidates
  • When: October 3, 2021 at 1 p.m.; open reception from 2 to 3 p.m.
  • Where: Del Webb Community Center (Rear Patio), 905 Del Webb Manor Ave, Wake Forest 27587. Masks are required.

 

Residents and voters in Wake Forest are invited to submit questions they would like the candidates to address during the forum to info@lwvwake.org  All questions must be received by Thursday, September 30.

The event will be recorded and made available on the Wake County League web site https://www.lwvwake.org through November 3, 2021.

Marian Lewin, Director of Voter Services, notes, “The League encourages Wake County residents to vote in the upcoming municipal elections. Forums like this are a great way for voters to find out more about the people running for office in their town.”

Election Day in Wake County is November 2, 2021. Consult the Wake County Board of Elections for changes or updates.
